Visa Application Fees All visa fees are set in £ sterling by the British Government in London and are the same world-wide. All visa fees within Syria are payable only in Syrian Lira. Guidance notes and fees for visa extensions, nationality and right of abode applications, for applicants who are already in the UK, are available on the the UK Border Agency website. Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. The visa fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application. Visa fees are non-refundable; but if a payment has been made and the application is not submitted or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics details with their application, then we will refund the fee. The consular rate £1 = 80 SYP.
